Beltane Fire Society is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year and there is an additional event for those with kids ( on 28th ).
Activities start at 10am on Calton Hill and include: storytelling | face painting | lantern making | music and singing | belly dancing workshop | African drumming and dancing | character and movement games | procession for kids ( starts at 1pm ). Family Beltane fb page is here.
I will be photographing an event so if you spot me somewhere, come and say hello. All photos will be put on this blog in a password protected gallery for anyone interested.
And there is a 2 part workshop at St.Margaret’s House during which you can make a willow puppet; photos below are from the first one, and another is this Saturday from 2-3.30pm. Happy Beltane!
